Presentations at WSN meeting

Researchers, postdocs and graduate, undergraduate and high school students working with the Upwelling Collaborative presented at the 100th annual Western Society of Naturalists meeting, November 10-13th, 2016 in Monterey, CA. Topics presented ranged from environmental triggers of epidemics in marine organisms to ocean acidification and sperm motility. Congratulations to Madison Heard, who was an undergraduate summer researcher at MBARI, for winning an honorable mention (Rafe Sagrin Award for Observation Ecology) for her talk on effects of climate change on the larval development of red abalone.
